How do I register and set up my profile?
Click "Sign In" in the top navigation bar to create an account. Once signed in, navigate to "Participate" to complete your stakeholder profile with your organisation name, stakeholder type, and country. Your profile must be complete before you can submit comments.
How do I read and comment on the draft standard?
Go to the "Document" tab to view the full draft standard. Each commentable section has a comment panel on the right side. Enter an optional clause reference (e.g., "4.1.3" or "Table 2") and your feedback, then click "Submit Comment". You can submit multiple comments per section.
Can I edit or delete my comments after submission?
Yes, you can edit or delete your comments at any time before the consultation deadline (1 September 2026). After the deadline, all comments are locked and cannot be modified. You can view all your submissions from the "My Submissions" tab, including the option to export them as CSV or print a summary for your records.
What happens to my comments after the consultation closes?
All comments are reviewed by the RTLS Intelligence standards development team. Feedback is compiled into a consultation report and used to prepare Draft 2 of the standard (expected February 2027). A targeted review period with key stakeholders is planned for February–April 2027, followed by formal submission to Standards Australia and Standards New Zealand in August 2027.
Can my organisation be listed as a consultation respondent?
Yes. In your profile page, you will find a "Public Participation" toggle. Enabling it will list your organisation name, stakeholder type, and country on the landing page — but only after you have submitted at least one comment. Your individual name, email, phone number, and comment content are never displayed publicly.
